Job Requisition
Req approved. Gia activated.
Create, route, and approve job requisitions inside Gigin. The moment the req is signed off, Gia generates the job description, broadcasts it, and begins sourcing - without a separate trigger.
Structured JR Templates
Start every role from a consistent template — job title, grade, requirements, and hiring stages defined upfront.
Approval Workflows
Route JRs to the right approvers automatically. Track status in real time — no chasing emails or lost threads.
Auto-Brief to Gia
Once approved, the JR becomes Gia's brief. She starts sourcing and screening immediately — no recruiter handoff needed.
Role Duplication
Clone any past JR for repeat hires. Duplicate the role, update the details, and you're live in under two minutes.
What is Job Requisition?
Job Requisition is hiring request automation software that digitises and automates the process of creating, approving, and activating job openings-from hiring manager intake brief through to live job broadcasting and Gia's automatic screening configuration.
How it works
From req creation to live role - the sequence
Days pass between req approval and a live role - manual JD writing, separate steps for each board
Gia generates the JD, broadcasts to 100+ boards, and begins sourcing - all triggered by final approval
Approval to live in minutes. Sourcing starts on approval - no manual trigger
Create the req
Fill in role details - title, department, hiring manager, criteria, compensation range, headcount. Routes to the configured approval chain immediately.
Approval routing
Sequential or parallel approvals - Hiring Manager → Finance → Head of TA, or any configuration you set. Gia activates only after the final approval is recorded.
JD generation
Gia generates the job description from the role criteria. The recruiter reviews and edits before it goes live. Most teams find Gia's draft needs minor adjustments, not a full rewrite.
Broadcast and source
The moment the JD is approved, Gia broadcasts to job boards and begins sourcing from the 100M+ profile database simultaneously.

FAQ
Job Requisition - common questions
Yes. Approval chains are configurable by role type, seniority, department, and cost centre. An individual contributor hire might go through one approver; a director-level hire might require three. Each configuration is set once and applied automatically to matching reqs.
Approval routing includes a delegate rule — if the primary approver does not respond within a configured window (e.g. 48 hours), the req automatically routes to their delegate. The delegate list is configured by HR ops or the system administrator.
Yes. The JD Gia generates from the req is editable — it is presented to the recruiter and hiring manager for review before it goes live. It is a starting point, not a final document. Most teams find that Gia's JD is 80–90% of the way to what they want, with minor adjustments needed.
Gigin connects to major HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, and others) via integration. Approved reqs can be pushed to your HRIS headcount tracking system, and filled roles can trigger onboarding workflow initiation in the HRIS. Configuration varies by HRIS — confirm with your integration setup.
Gigin captures compensation range at the JR creation stage and tracks offer amounts at close. This provides visibility into whether actual offers are within the budgeted range per req. Full compensation budgeting and finance-side reporting is handled by your HRIS — Gigin's data feeds into that system via integration.
