What Candidates Actually Asked Our AI Recruiting Agent During Assessment Calls
What candidates actually asked our AI recruiting agent during assessment calls.
"What would the first 30 days look like, and what would make an employee in this role stand out from others?"
"Based on our conversation, is there any problem or feedback that could hinder my selection in further rounds?"
"Based on our discussion today, do you have any concerns about my profile or experience that I can address?"
These are not the questions you ask a bot you don't trust. These are the questions you ask a recruiter you're taking seriously.
In production, nearly half of all connected candidates asked follow-up questions. They treated the AI assessment as a genuine two-way evaluation.
One candidate even called out that it was an AI call, then immediately followed with: "I'm highly interested because this is my hometown. I know every restaurant, every hotel. I will grow, and I will grow the company."
The fear that candidates will reject AI-led hiring? The data says it's overblown.
Candidates care about speed, relevance, and being heard. When those three things are present, the delivery mechanism matters far less than most HR teams assume.
